Kensie the Bee

Kensie was a big hit tonight with all the kiddos that came looking for candy. Only problem was that she did not like her costume! She let me take these in exchange for treats :) I have another pic that I will post later, as soon as I get it from my friend. For now here:

Costume Party

On Saturday night I got all dressed up with some of my friends to attend a costume party. A group of us decided to go as Rock Band. We all play the game together so it was really fun dressing up as one of the characters. We were all rockers! Koutsunis had a sleeve of temporary tattoos! They are still pealing off, and my hair still has a tinge of pink in it, and here are a couple of pics!

I really like this one even though its blury

Caleb was a ringwraith.

i looooove my feather eyelashes! My favorite part of dressing up are the fake lashes!

I had some rockin' leg warmers too!

The party was hosted by my friend Anna's sister Starling. They both dressed up as Cindy McCain and Sarah Palin. Don't they look great?

Susan Komen Breast Cancer 5k

Its my first Saturday without a wedding, and instead of sleeping in Koutsunis and I woke up early decided to join some of our friends in the Susan Komen 5K to run for the cure! I have been touched by a couple of people in my life that are battling this disease. One in particular is the amazing Catherine Carswell! She is a very young woman that is battling breast cancer with such an amazing spirit! Check out her blog the funnier side of cancer!

Koutsunis and I actually ran on the team of Mary Lawson Day. She is a member of my church, and a young mother who is really an inspiration.

These were taken with my phone..sorry for the distortion.

My good friend (and sometimes assistant Amanda) was there with her little boy walking for her Aunt ( Sissy). She was walking with a lot of her family so after Koutsunis and finished our jog we went back and walked with them!

Here they are crossing the finish line!

there were a LOT of people there!

...including my bf Elizabeth who I did not get a photo with, she just did her first marathon last weekend and she also ran the 5k this weekend and got her best personal time, 26:47! You ROCK!

Here are K and I after the run! We had to wait in line a long time to get out of the parking lot...photo opp!

Alicia & Stewart's Wedding

Last weekend Koutsunis and I took a road trip to the co to photograph Alicia and Stewart's wedding on Sea Island, GA. It was a special place for the bride because she grew up spending time each summer there at her grandmother's cottage. It was also a VERY special date, 10-18-08 is the exact date of Alicia and Stewart's 11 year anniversary!

Koutsunis came along to assist me and we felt like part of the family. There are so many images I love that it was hard for me to pick only a couple for the preview! But for now, Enjoy!!

Alicia got ready at the Cloister. I loved the cox comb mixed in her flowers!

Did I mention that her Manolos were divine.

Bride

Groom

The first see was super sweet. You can just feel the anticipation. I love these first two shots that Koutsunis got!

Then we did some fun pre-wedding portraits.

The couple had a very intimate ceremony on the beach near the grandmothers cottage.
The bride and groom went barefoot, but the guests had personalized flip flops. Love birds on the sign...LOVE it! A friend of Alicia's made it for her!

One of my all time favorite ceremony shots I have ever done!

The vows were especially sweet...11 years gives a lot of material for personal touches!

After the ceremony they had a champagne toast out on the beach!

We headed to the ocean and these are just two of many that I love!

Off to the reception at the Lodge. It's so beautiful there. On the way in we stopped and took some shots under the line of old oaks! They have a bagpiper play out on the green at dusk before dinner and then it was to the Wine Cellar.

The petite cake was amazing!

the leave!

A special thanks to Kelly Watkins with Sea Island, Alicia's awesome wedding planner! She did an amazing job making the day run smoothly!

Alicia and Stewart, Thank you so much for having us be a part of your wedding! I really had a blast working with you both! Your families were both amazing and I really enjoyed getting to know everyone! It was so fun to shoot such a sweet, intimate, and gorgeous wedding!

I'm a Georgia Voter!

Koutsunis took the day off work to rest and study up for his midterm in microwaves tonight(not the kind that heat up foods the actual waves that are micro). We had a long weekend traveling and shooting an awesome wedding so it was nice that he got to catch up on some z's. We had an awesome lunch at Joe D's, which if you live here in Macon and need a good sandwich you have to try! Then we decided to get our vote on early. If you live in Bibb county you can head up to the Board Of Elections on the corner of Pio Nono and Eisenhower to vote if you do not want to wait in the long lines on election day!

Just remember to vote!

p.s. i took these with my iphone, not bad for a camera phone :)

Laici & Alan's Wedding Preview

I had a blast last weekend at Laici and Alan's wedding! They are such a fun couple... so in love. It shows so much in their images. It was so sweet how helpful and involved both of their families were. We were blessed that the rain held off until after the wedding was over! Here is a sneek peek of their day! I hope you enjoy guys!

The row of covered buttons was my favorite part of the dress!

Here are some awesome details from the wedding! Goggins Florists did an awesome job with her flowers...and her colors rocked!

Laici's mom did an awesome job on her hair and ALL the girls hair!

Laici's mom helped her into the dress.

Laici looked amazing!

I loooooove this one!

The wind helped us with the beautiful image. The grooms mother made Laici's veil! It was so gorgeous!

Alan was a dashing groom and rocked that blue! It really brought out his eyes! :)

The ceremony was emotional, they both knew the tears were going to come.

the kiss is always one of my favs!

Mr. and Mrs. Alan Pitts!!!!

The stained glass window in the church was perfect for the silhouette shot!

After the ceremony we had some fun on the swings out behind the church. Aren't they so cute?

Laici worked her dresses train in this romantic shot!

BUBBLES!
I hope y'all had an awesome honeymoon! I can't wait to show you more!

Love,

Jenny Evelyn
